Patients

When providing health care, we process patient data including data concerning health in the medical records. The legal basis is Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR and Act No. 576/2004 Coll. on health care. We keep medical records for the period set by this Act. We disclose data only to recipients to whom the law requires it, for example the health insurance company.

Please do not include details about your health in e-mails. We will discuss them in person or by phone.

Phone and e-mail

When you call or write to us, we process the data you provide (name, phone, e-mail, content of the message) to reply and arrange an appointment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. We keep messages as long as needed to handle them. E-mails are received by the Websupport server and forwarded to Gmail (Google).

Website visitors

• Necessary cookies remember the selected language and your choice in the cookie banner. The website does not work properly without them; no consent is needed.
• Statistics: With your consent, we measure website traffic using Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) via the MonsterInsights plugin. The legal basis is consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications. Google may transfer data to the USA; it participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time on the Cookie policy page.
• The map on the Contact page is loaded from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which receives your IP address. It sets no cookies. The Directions in Google Maps link opens Google Maps only after you click it.
• Server logs: On every visit, the web server records the IP address, time and the page opened. They are used to secure the website (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website runs on servers of WebSupport s.r.o. (websupport.sk).

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, the right to object and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Medical records cannot be erased before the statutory period ends. If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk.
